DEBONO. On March 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH (Il-Kaptan), aged 83, of Valletta, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss Ċettina, widow of his brother Salvu, his nephews and nieces Maria, Joseph, Louis, Frans, John, Maria and Nancy, their spouses and children, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 7.30 a.m. for St Dominic church, Valletta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MIFSUD. On March 20, at her residence, BICE, aged 85, of Birkirkara, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Joyce and her husband Frank Bezzina, Lawrence and his wife Rose Mifsud, Marlene and her husband Mario Chetcuti, Noel and his wife Jane Mifsud, nephews and grandchildren. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 2 p.m. tomorrow for St Theresa Sanctuary, Birkirkara where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery.
