Employees from a number of companies spent the day carrying out voluntary work in various residential homes and shelters for children and adults, to mark Corporate Social Responsibility Day yesterday.

Each company was assigned to help a different organisation and volunteers were visited by acting President Anton Tabone, Archbishop Paul Cremona, and the Prime Minister’s wife Kate Gonzi, who thanked them for their work.

Employees who took part were from the following companies: Alf Mizzi and Sons, Deloitte, Gasan Group of Companies, HSBC, Enemalta, the Maltese Association of The Sovereign Military and Hospitaller Order of Malta; MSV Life, Malta Enterprise, Simonds Farsons Cisk, Tumas Group, Vassallo Group of Companies and Watson Arrow.
