Around 100 students from Agius de Soldanis girls secondary school are taking part in a ‘Walk for water’ activity on Tuesday and Thursday to mark World Water Day, recently attended a water presentation by hydrologist Marco Cremona.

The students from the Victoria school will be collecting money from households and businesses in Victoria for a water project chosen for the school by Akvo Foundation, an NGO based in the Netherlands.

The African Medical and Research Foundation Water and Sanitation Mtwara, Tanzania project is inten­ded to improve health and quality of life of vulnerable people through access to sustainable water sources and sanitation.
