Dhalia’s Luxury Living recently hosted two half-day seminars in Gothenburg and Malmo, Sweden, and participated in the International Property Fair at the Globen Arena in Stockholm.
The fair, organised by Fairmedia International, is one of the largest property fairs in Scandinavia. This year, the attendance was described as overwhelming and industry specialists have said this was due to the Swedish krona’s favourable currency performance against the euro.
The seminars were addressed by Inger Soderlund, Dhalia’s business partner in Sweden, and John Huber, of John Huber and Associates. They were attended by over 150 delegates ranging from bankers, fund managers, tax consultants, lawyers and a number of high network clients, including CEOs representing large Scandinavian corporations.
The seminars explained the local tax regime and regulations of buying property abroad, as well as information on retirement and holidaying in Malta. At the Stockholm fair, Dhalia was represented by Dhalia Luxury Living manager Michael Mifsud and by Ms Soderlund.
Mr Mifsud said the response received from previous visits to Stockholm had encouraged Dhalia to return and promote Maltese properties.
