6pm HR product for NHS

6pm, the IT solutions company, has launched its new HR Vision product for the UK’s National Health Service.

HR vision takes data from the employee staff records system and then allows NHS trusts to automate their key processes such as staff appraisals, change in contractual circumstances and 20 other processes. The system uses a production workflow engine to drive the processes through, ensuring that the right piece of work is completed at the right time by the right person.

HR Vision has been developed in conjunction with HR managers in the NHS to help increase HR efficiency by an estimated 25 per cent and provide the ‘auditability’ of compliance required to reduce NHS litigation insurance.

“The changes impacting the NHS over the coming years will mean we all need to work in more innovative and efficient ways,” Jasvier Boyal, director of workforce, Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust said.

6pm executive director Steve Wightman explained HR Vision was designed to enhance the applications that HR managers have already adopted using one of the market-leading workflow toolsets from EMC. Several demonstrations were held before the product launch at the request of NHS Trusts; all agreed a real difference could be made to the way HR departments operate.
