Return to Trapani (just a 40 minute drive away from Palermo) with Ryanair in April is € 10 return, no taxes or anything. That includes 10 kilos of carry on baggage. And a choice of 3 flights a week - I know which airline I would choose.

Two flights out, and two flights back? That's all? And the dates available barely correspond to a round trip, unless it suits your schedule, and you manage to get seats for the 22-26 April return @ €50 total.
Failing the above, how much more is it going to cost me to get there/come back on the regular priced flights? A nonsensical half-baked offer at best.

Air Malta should cancel all flights to cities that are not viable to fly. It’s simple mathematics. How come the cheap airlines make a profit, like Ryan air, which for every passenger coming to Malta is being awarded with xx sum of Euros? London, Rome and Paris are the most important airport in Europe, who wishes to go further s/he just a connection flight away. How about Airmalta invest in airwaves like a mobile telephone operator.

business is never simple maths. Other airlines make a profit because they are run by businessman and not by politicians. if Airmalta was being used to hide unemployment figures we can never expect the airline to make a profit. Air Malta is always more expensive, ok i am prepared to pay for better service. but be realistic what do we get better ? more seating space ? better food ? friendlier staff ? fewer delays ? you cannot charge 5 star prices and give the same or similar service as the 1 star people. AS for this "special offer" its the same price as Malta-bolognia or Malta Milan with 15 kg luggage and priority boarding. The only extra is the 1/2 sandwich which really i can live without. Airmalta adapt or die

Will it be one of those cases where they launch a flight, tickets are sold and then they cancel ?? This is always the case with regards to Palermo !
