• An evening of prayer for peace and new evangelisation of the world will be held by the International Movement of Prayer Blessed Pope John XXIII on Wednesday from 5.30 to 6.30 p.m. at Madonna tal-Ħerba church, Birkirkara, consisting of Mass followed by 20 minutes of adoration.

• The Fundraising and Social Activities Committee of the Physically Handicapped Rehabilitation Fund, Corradino Hill, Paola, will be organising a coffee morning at Melita Gardens, Attard, on Thursday. • As an act of reparation for offences taking place during the full moon an adoration and a Mass will be held on Friday between 8.30 and 10.30 p.m. at St Francis church, Msida Road, Birkirkara. Everyone is invited.

• The breast care support group Europa Donna is holding a walk for breast cancer awareness, beginning at the Independence Garden, Sliema, and ending at the Sliema Ferries, next Sunday at 9 a.m.

• A buffet lunch is being organised in aid of the Pontifical Missions Office of 7, Merchant Street, Valletta. It will be held at the Topaz Hotel, Buġibba, next Sunday at 12.30 p.m. Tickets cost €17 for adults and €8.50 for children under 10. For booking, please call 2123 6962 by Friday.
