Children playing on what is being described as Sydney’s biggest landmark sculpture, with the Aboriginal name “Wurrungwuri” which means “this side-on this side of the water”, during its launch at the Royal Botanic Garden, yesterday. The sculpture consists of two parts, one built from 16,000 threaded quartz pebbles and one built from local sandstone with its wave-like form appearing to emerge from the bedrock below to cascade down the lawn.
