The Seashells Resort at Suncrest has reopened its doors to its first guests of 2011 after using the pre-planned winter closure period to implement a number of improvements. AX Hotels, owners of the Seashells, invested €500,000 in upgrades and improvements.

Among the areas of the resort which have been upgraded is the Ambassador Lounge, where work has been carried out to increase not only its aesthetics but also its practical and comfort levels. The pool and pool area of the hotel have also been subject to upgrades. Indeed, the pool has been upgraded to an overflow pool, in order to continually increase the health and safety standards that regular and new guests associate with the Seashells Resort.

Soft furnishings and paintings in public areas have been upgraded, while maintenance work was carried out in a number of rooms of the resort. A major investment in the main kitchen was also made.

Meanwhile, Seashells Resort at Suncrest has confirmed that a number of its rooms have already been booked up, well in advance for the summer. The hotel said that this year it will continue to focus and indeed increase its “all-inclusive” package – whereby food, drink and use of other facilities in the Hotel is all included in the price.
