Parking slots in Valletta

I can assure Monica Muscat (Parking In Valletta And Waning Business, March 4) that quite a number of selfish Valletta residents are already demonstrating their expertise vis-à-vis parking. Anyone attempting to park in Valletta after 7 p.m. finds practically all the white slots filled, with a frustrating abundance of vacant blue and green slots reserved for residents.

@ Marvin Mizzi

what makes you think you are entitled to a reserved parking space? Do you pay more road tax than everyone else? I don't think so.

Also where do you park when you travel out of Valletta? In other residential areas and in front of other people's homes no doubt.

Mr. Mizzi, I have one piece of advice for you - if you want a guaranteed parking space fork out some of your own money and buy yourself a garage just like everyone else does.
