Smart City Malta is to sponsor the annual Malta Journalism Awards’ e-journalism category for the fifth year.

The awards are organised by The Institute of Maltese Journalists.

Smart City Malta chief executive officer Fareed Abdulrahman presented the sponsorship to MJI honorary treasurer Mario Schiavone and honorary secretary Joe Vella.

The finalists will be announced later this month; the awards ceremony will be held on May 7.
