While Ramis whitewashed Gladiators, okmalta.com claimed a more important scalp, that of the illustrious Fina. Turu’s Knights also won big against Salitos. The first of two 6-2 results went in favour of The Clan over Grolsch, and the other was in favour of Middlesea Valletta PLC against Royal Shock.
Joint-leaders okmalta.com ob-tained the result of the week, as they grappled all eight points from traditional team-to-beat, Fina.
Okmalta.com opened their account with a 708-757 initial victory, before going four points ahead with a closer 731-745 game two win.
The pace dropped further for both sides in the last game of the set, that going 639-681 to round off okmalta.com’s eight-point win.
Ramis, on their part, started their streak with the team game of the night, beating Gladiators in game one 831-793. They then claimed the second 717-656, and easily won game three 824-738 to also take the team series of the week (2,372).
