Earth observation satellite Glory to be launched today.

Nasa set today as the launch date for its Earth observation satellite, named Glory, after it was twice postponed last month due to technical glitches.

“Those issues have been resolved,” Nasa said in a statement, announcing the new launch time of 2.09 a.m. today from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

Data from the Glory mission will allow scientists to better understand how the sun and tiny atmospheric particles called “aerosols” affect Earth’s climate and how they may impact human life.
