A yachting industry seminar entitled Yachting in Malta: The Way Forward is to be held on April 29. The seminar is being organised by Wilfred Sultana & Associates, publishers of the Yachting In Malta directory.

A few weeks ago the ninth edition of the directory, meant for distribution throughout 2011 and 2012, was launched, 35 years after the publication of the first edition in 1976.

The Malta event will once again have the support and cooperation of Transport Malta and the International Superyacht Society based in Florida.

The International Superyacht Society is recognised as the sole organisation serving and representing the yacht industry worldwide. It is envisaged that one of the foreign speakers nominated by the International Superyacht Society this year will be a captain of a superyacht who has visited Malta.

Local speakers will be representing Transport Malta, the Yachting Services Business Section of the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and the Super Yacht Industry Network – Malta.

“We are confident that the wide spectrum of different professions making up the direct and indirect services and facilities sectors of the industry will once again respond ardently to this second seminar,” Mr Sultana said.
