Bank of Valletta, through its EU and SME Desk, is assisting customers in the tourism sector benefit from the interest rate subsidy scheme.

Malta Enterprise is subsidising interest rates on bank business loans to restaurants and hotels for refurbishment and expansion projects in a government-mandated bid to boost development in the sector.

BoV is financing over €245 million worth of tourism-related projects and has assisted tourism operators in tapping EU structural funds through financing and co-financing tourism packages and value-added services.
