The Valletta bus terminus is being shifted in its entirety to the park-and-ride site in Blata l-Bajda from Monday as new traffic arrangements come into force to make way for the carnival celebrations. Buses will have to make way for the carnival enclosure which will be put up next to the Triton fountain, just outside City Gate.

The Malta Council for Culture and the Arts yesterday said buses will drop passengers off along Sarria Road, Floriana. Buses will also pick passengers up from the same spot and transfer them to the temporary bus terminus from where they will be able to board any bus to their destination.

These traffic arrangements will remain in place until March 9.
