Now that the Salina salt pans project has been taken in hand, may I suggest that a footpath be constructed from opposite the Coastline Hotel to the other side of the bay so that tourists and residents on both sides of the bay can cross over without having to go all the way round the Kennedy Grove.

As can be seen from the photograph of the salt pans that was printed in The Times on February 19, the only part that needs to be joined is that over the opening of the canal on the Qawra side.
