A 28-year-old man from Mosta was accused in court this morning of having attempted to seriously injure his brother when he drove an earth-mover at him.
The incident allegedly happened early yesterday morning.
Stephen Tonna is pleading not guilty.
He also denies damaging cars belonging to his brother Joseph and another brother, Reno.
Police Inspector Edmond Cuschieri told the court that this incident stemmed from a longstanding argument between the accused and his brother Joseph over property.
Yesterday, the accused drove the earth-mover towards his brother but did not injure him. He later damaged two cars belonging to his brothers (not with the earth-mover)
Defence counsel denied that the accused had driven the earth-mover at his brother.
Bail was granted against a deposit of €1,000 and a personal guarantee of €3,500.
