• The amount of deposit to be paid is a matter of agreement between seller and buyer.

• If we are asked to pay a high deposit, we should negotiate a reasonable amount.

• If we change our mind after paying a deposit, there may be unpleasant legal consequences.

• Whatever is agreed with the seller is best written black on white on the sales contract.

• If the supplier does not adhere to the terms agreed in the sales contract, we may have a right to ask for the deposit to be paid back.
