Mazars Malta appoints new partner, VAT specialist

Mazars Malta, formerly Attard Giglio and Co, has appointed Tino Riolo as a new partner along with VAT specialist Matthew Zampa.

Mr Riolo began his career with the firm in 2002 and was appointed to the audit department. As his career progressed, he worked on several overseas assignments at Mazar’s London and Dublin offices. He specialises in audits involving insurance, groups and local structures.

A certified public accountant, Mr Zampa joins Mazars as indirect taxation services manager from a large audit firm.

He has been specialising in VAT advisory and VAT compliance since 2008 and holds a management degree from the University of Malta, an ACCA qualification and a Tax Diploma from the Malta Institute of Taxation.
