It was a pleasure to attend the St Ignatius College Siġġiewi primary school Christmas concert, held in the new hall of this refurbished school. Pupils felt at home showing off their talents on stage.

On the other hand, it was a pity the newly built St Ignatius College Ħandaq boys’ school could not host such an event because it lacks a stage-hall and chapel facilities.

With great effort by both the students and the administration, the Christmas pantomime had to be held at Qormi St George’s primary.

Whoever was responsible for planning the new school without a stage-hall and a chapel, when space was readily available, disregarded our children’s needs. It’s like building a house without a kitchen.

When will action be taken to remedy matters?
