Four international business coaches and experts will address Malta’s first TEDx conference at St James Cavalier in Valletta on Friday on the theme ‘Innovation meets inspiration’.

TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events bringing people together and is part of a revolution in global education made possible by organisers wanting to engage their communities. Every week, in multiple cities, people are coming together to pursue ideas worth spreading.

A non-profit organisation, TED started as a four-day conference in California 25 years ago, and has grown to support world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives.

The annual TED conference invites the world’s leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Al Gore and Richard Branson.

The Malta event will be addressed by Jo Simpson, coaching leader and author of best-selling book They Thought It Was All Over – They Were Right, who will talk on intuitive decision-making.

Role Model Consulting founder Tim Dobson will discuss the theme ‘Just be clever – the art of management’. International Association for Human Values executive director Christoph Glaser will talk about ‘Doing well by being good’. Motivational speaker and business coach Craig Goldblatt will discuss personal leadership.

TEDxValletta will be filmed and all presentations will be available at www.tedxvalletta.com. TEDxValletta also has a Facebook page.
