Discovering Atlantis
Marsovin’s Atlantis range of wines have been given the DOK status for high quality.
Wine lovers can taste a selection of Marsovin’s Atlantis wines, which were recently given the DOK status for high quality.
The Chardonnay DOK Gozo is produced from Chardonnay grapes harvested from the Ramla Valley estate. It is a dry, full bodied complex white wine with rich citrus fruit flavours, combining well with aromatic and smoky undertones.
Produced from hand-picked grapes from the Marnisi estate on the outskirts of Marsaxlokk, the Cabernet Rose is a slightly off-dry, medium-bodied rosé made from low-yielding Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc varieties, having fruity aromas of raspberries and strawberries.
The Cabernet Sauvignon is also hand-harvested from the Marnisi estate. This red wine has an intense, complex, fruity aroma with distinct notes of ripe cherries and prunes. It is a dry, full-bodied well-structured wine with rounded tannis and a lingering velvety finish.
