A teenager yesterday admitted shoplifting and was put on probation for three years but two women and a man denied similar charges.
The 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, admitted to stealing from a pharmacy and relapsing.
Natale Bonello, 35, of Cospicua, Michelle Bugeja, 30 and Alberta Amato, 25, both of Marsascala, arraigned in the same case, denied stealing cosmetic items from another pharmacy, stealing gold from a jeweller’s and items from a grocer’s shop between December 8 and January 15. They also denied relapsing.
The accused were denied bail.
