A Policy Advisory Board has been set up within the Office of the Prime Minister to advise the government on policy-related matters and also serve as the management board of the Management Efficiency Unit.

The board is chaired by John Bonello, former senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Malta.

Its members are Helga Ellul,CEO of Playmobil Malta and President of the Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry, Pierre Mallia, CEO, iMovo Ltd. Godwin Grima, Principal Permanent Secretary, Richard Cachia Caruana, Permanent Representative of Malta to the European Union, Alfred Camilleri, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Finance, the Economy and Investment and Edgar Galea Curmi, Head of the Prime Minister’s Secretariat.
