• Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will lead a pontifical Mass at St Paul’s Shipwreck church, Munxar, on Thursday, eve of the feast ofSt Paul, at 9 a.m.

• The Marsalforn community will be celebrating the liturgical feast of St Paul with a programme of activities at St Paul church between Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday, Masses will be said at 8, 10 and 11 a.m. Pontifical Mass, led by Archbishop Emeritus Joseph Mercieca, will be said at6 p.m. The Chorus Unda Maris will take part.

• Joe Friggieri will deliver a talk, entitled ‘What is Art?’, followed by a discussion, at the Circolo Gozitano, 6, Sir Adrian Dingli Street, Victoria, on Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. The public is invited.

• The Bethel Charismatic Group will be holding a prayer meeting at the church of Our Lady of Pompeii, Victoria, on Saturday at 7 p.m.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will hold a prayer evening at the Munxar parish church, on Saturday at 8 p.m., followed by Mass at midnight.

• Mgr Luigi Vella (1859-1928) will be commemorated with a public talk at the Banca Giuratale, Independence Square, Victoria, on Friday at 7 p.m. The speaker will be Mgr Anton Gauci. The public is invited.

• A fundraising bazaar in aid of Carolina Cauchi Home will be held at Lourdes Home, Għajnsielem, on Friday from 8.30 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. Plants, toys, clothes, shoes, books, sweets, fabric and yarn, and home appliances will be on sale.

• The Gozo CCU Foundation is presenting a pre-Valentine’s carvery at the Cornucopia Hotel, Xagħra, on Friday at 7 p.m. Tickets sell at €22, inclusive of wine and water.
