Man gets beaten with metal pipe
A Bulgarian man was seriously injured after he was hit several times in the stomach with a metal pipe in Paceville early yesterday morning.
Nikolai Genovsky, 25, who lives in St Julians, was injured in an argument with another man at about 5 a.m., sources said.
He was found injured in Ball Street, St Julians by the police.
The police believe an argument broke out between the Bulgarian man and a Maltese national, suspected to be a driver, who hit the man and drove away.
The man was taken to hospital.
