Focal Maritime Services of Birżebbuġa has attained ISO 9001-2008 certification for all ship agency, freight forwarding, liner representation and airfreight operations.

The team was presented with the certification by Joseph F.X. Zahra, managing director of Misco, Focal Maritime’s consultants, and Peter Spiteri Gonzi of Bureau Veritas Certification, the appointed external auditors.

Focal Maritime offers a range of services including representation of container liner services, ship agency, ship husbandry, groupage services, freight-forwarding, airfreight and ship broking. The company is affiliated to international shipping organisations, including BIMCO and FIATA.
