Annual double bill for clubbers in Gozo

The Pure Gozo Carnival Weekender annual double bill is once again set for Gozo kicking off on March 4.

The journey starts with Ruby & Friends Global Journey Hong Kong at the Ku Club venue in Victoria – Pure’s favourite club on this archipelago. Coupled with a theme that reflects the colourful, vast and metropolitan vibrancy of a region where east meets west, the event is promising to be another four-hour sonic journey through the depths of the underground by DJ Ruby, delivering absolute satisfaction to all those serious, discerning clubbers hungry for left-wing beats and alternative electronic sounds.

The following day will see DCode (also based in Victoria) host a celebration of club anthems spanning this past decade, namely Pure Noughties: The Best of 2000s. Initially launched as a concept last summer at Numero Uno’s Sunset Sundays, its successful result has encouraged Pure Promotions to bring this exclusive night to Gozo for the first time ever.

For both events expect as always themed décor, mind-blowing hi-tech visual eye candy, secondary rooms laden with alternative dance sounds with top-notch guest deejays and other surprises.
