Patient files protest against dentists

A woman from Pembroke, Natalie Bartolo, this morning filed a judicial protest against dentists Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando and Alexander Azzopardi, the Director General of Health and the Chief Government Medical Officer, holding them responsible for pain and a permanent disability which she said she had suffered after medical interventions privately and at Mater Dei Hospital.

Ms Bartolo, 48, claimed negligence and called on them to pay her compensation.

Ms Bartolo was originally treated privately by Dr Pullicino Orlando and then went to Dr Azzopardi who treated her both privately and in hospital.
