An exhibition of paintings by Gozitan artist Christopher Saliba is being held at the Mayor’s Palace, Galleria Villa Niscemi, in Palermo.

Entitled ‘Lux Aeterna - Sul Viaggio della Luce’, the retrospective consists of a selection of 20 semi-abstract and abstract paintings exec-uted throughout the last five years.

Light and texture feature as important elements in the creation of the vibrant and neo-expressionist paintings which are being exhibited.

Saliba has put up several exhibitions since 2002 at the National Museum of Fine Arts, at St James Cavalier and at the Auberge d’Italie, in Valletta. His works have also been exhibited in Perugia, London and at the Louvre Museum in Paris.

‘Lux Aeterna- Sul Viaggio della Luce’ ends today.
