The Bank of Valletta Prize in Drama for 2010 was recently awarded to Alexander Gatesy Lewis, who obtained the best results from over 400 drama students who sat for Trinity Guildhall exams last year.

BoV marketing manager Charles Azzopardi presented a certificate and a cash grant to Mr Gatesy Lewis in the presence of Masquerade Theatre Arts School director Anthony Bezzina.

Mr Azzopardi congratulated the winner for his achievement. “BoV is a strong supporter of local artistic initiatives. This prize was designed to encourage excellence in the artistic studies of drama students,” he said.

Mr Bezzina said: “This prize serves to further motivate all the participants to aim higher in their achievements and to raise the level of drama within Malta’s artistic scene.”
