Two cargo drivers were this morning granted bail against a personal guarantee of 5,000 euros each after they pleaded not guilty to stealing more than €19,000 worth of mobile phones to the detriment of Maltese people in Italy between January 8 and 10.

Glenn David Hillyer, 34, of St Paul’s Bay and David Sceberras, 42, of Zabbar were also charged with handling stolen property in Zebbug and Mr Hillyer with being a relapser.
