Boring repeat TV adverts
Is there an authority to regulate the quality and the frequency of adverts being transmitted on our national television and radio stations? They are boring and pathetic and the same advert is repeated every few minutes.
Is this why we are paying a television licence?

Adverts are not the only rubbish on our local TV stations. On certain evenings there are Maltese plays on three or four stations simultaneously, with everyone moaning.( the little I see of it, so that I can talk about it). Surely by now we should be able to produce some good entertainment. Apparently we are not.

Pity you can't remove Maltese TV altogether. The whole lot of it (with some exceptional cases) is drivel

I think that Malta is the only nation whose 8 o'clock news breaks half way toshow adverts besides some stupid jingles.Maybe there is not enough news material to fill the 30 minutes available !!

If you want to see a pathetic advert, have some time digesting the message re-L-Orizzont. I am referring to the one were a driver is happily reading the paper in a traffic light crossing. Its a PR exercise in reverse gear! Professional advert producers use a subtle message to hit the message home; this one did the opposite.

I'm more disappointed with the repetition of programmes, late at night some of them. Just so they'll say that TV stations in Malta are quasi 24X7. But the ads offer something special which I haven't noticed on foreign TV stations. Our local stations have ads in 3 languages, Maltese, English & Italian. We are really a cultural lot!

Ah yes, this reminds me about the one related to the purchasing of GOLD. The person acting as the one selling her Gold, is so without quality, that I am ever so thankfull for however invented the Remote Control. This advert is DAILY shown on TV. Please, please, remove or change it.

But it is unique! You do not see adverts with massive microphones hanging out and taking turns!!!
