Gail Porter has stepped out with a shaved head again following the return of her alopecia.

The TV presenter, 39, almost lost all of her blonde, glossy hair overnight when she first developed the condition in 2005.

Ms Porter, who has refused to wear wigs and hairpieces, was delighted when her hair started to grow back again last year.

The hair regrowth began with her brows and lashes, before Ms Porter, a former model, was able to show off a short, cropped look.

But in November last year, Ms Porter went online to say her hair had started to fall out again.

Last night, the mother-of-one had a shaved head again at an event at the Palace Theatre in London.

She said recently of the return of her alopecia: “I’ve been here before and it’s not the best, but it’s just one of those things and I have to get over it.”

Porter developed the condition in the wake of the messy end of her marriage to musician Dan Hipgrave, which also led to an overdose.
