The V-Alliance, a partnership between Citrix and Microsoft, was established to provide end users with a comprehensive set of joint virtualisation solutions featuring both companies’ technologies and to offer best practice on virtualisation.
Local technology solutions company Computime is launching the V-Alliance programme in Malta with a business presentation on February 2.
In order to achieve the V-Alliance accreditation, IT partners must be Microsoft and Citrix partners with a track record of virtualisation success and must prove their capabilities by completing a comprehensive training programme, focused around helping end users to achieve their goals for efficiency, cost reduction, compliance, integrated management and security.
“When selecting which IT providers we wanted to spearhead the Malta V-Alliance programme, we chose the partners we believed had the skills and depth of technical experience of both Microsoft and Citrix technologies. Computime is one of our most highly skilled and technically accredited partners,” said Patrick Jaspers, senior strategic sales manager, EMEA, at Microsoft Corporation.
Roger Howell, systems engineering manager for Citrix Italy, also praised Computime for its “technical capability and commitment to deliver effective desktop virtualisation solutions”.
Stephen Vella, head of technology solutions division at Computime Ltd said: “We’re delighted to help support the launch of the V-Alliance programme for Microsoft and Citrix in Malta, as this strengthens our position as Malta’s leading provider of desktop virtualisation solutions.”
Registration for the business launch on February 2 is available through the website www.computime.com.mt.
