More than 300 delegates travelled to Malta for Nestlé Purina Pet Care’s annual conference where they participated in team-buildings stints and workshops.

The two-day event at Floriana’s Excelsior Hotel also incorporated the presentation of the company’s end-of-year results, a review of the year’s operation, and plans for 2011.

Nestlé Purina general manager, south central Europe Lucio Scaratti and Nestlé Malta marketing manager Alfred Borg welcomed the delegates who included regional managers, regional national key accountants, area heads, country agents and hyper market specialists.

Purina Pet Care is one of the most widely known Nestlé brands: It comprises a range of global market-leading pet care products. Purina is one of six Nestlé global strategic brands worldwide and in Italy it has one of the highest awareness levels in Europe. Nestlé Purina represents around 15 per cent of Nestlé’s income in the Italian market and at a European level.

Nestlé has been in Malta for over 100 years.
