I refer to the report 38 Medicine Prices Reduced (January 5).

Last September, in Sicily we purchased Voltaren 30 gastro-resistant tablets x 50mg for €5.14 (0.1713c per tablet) from several different pharmacies in Catania and Syracuse. We still have the boxes with the price clearly shown.

The prices listed on the newspaper show Voltaren 20 gastro-resistant tablets x 50mg selling for €11.10 (0.555 per tablet) reduced from €12.85. One does not have to be a mathematician to see that the tablets here in Malta are selling for three times the price. What reduction in prices of medicine may we ask the Parliamentary Secretary for Consumer Affairs, Chris Said?

I rest my case.
