Inter coach Leonardo was not too downhearted after the five-time defending Serie A champions crashed to a 3-1 defeat at Udinese today.

The loss was Leonardo's first since his appointment as coach at the start of the year and it also ended a five-match winning run for the Nerazzurri.

"It can happen," Leonardo said on the club's official website, www.inter.it. "I don't see it as a huge problem.

"It doesn't change my way of thinking or our journey for that matter.

"The road is still long and we will fight until the end."

Inter had taken a 16th-minute lead through Dejan Stankovic before goals from Cristian Zapata, Antonio Di Natale and Maurizio Domizzi fired Udinese to an impressive victory.

"I don't think my team was lacking focus," Leonardo added. "We have to give merit to Udinese, who did a great job.

"They played very well, especially in the second half."

Inter had been fourth in the table before this weekend but now sit fifth, six points behind leaders Milan.
