Obituary
DIMECH. On January 21, at Roseville Home, Attard, CARMEN, aged 87, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughter Marlene and her husband Joe Attard, her sons Joe and his wife Phyllis and Frank and his wife Mary, her sister Rose Azzopardi, her brother John Azzopardi and his wife Mary, Mabel, widow of her brother Charles, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, otherrelatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held at StPublius parish church, Floriana, on Tuesday at 9 a.m. No flowers by request but donations to Dartal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be appreciated.
GERADA. On January 21, Mgr EMANUEL GERADA, Titular Archbishop of Nomentum, former Apostolic Nuncio, aged 90, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his brother Dr Anthony Gerada, Antonia, widow of his brother Alfons, Bernadette, widow of his brother Joseph, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortege will leave Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow at 4 p.m. for Żejtun. He will lie in state at the oratory of St Catherine’s parish church, Żejtun, tomorrow between 5.30 and 8 p.m. and on Tuesday between 7.30 and 10 a.m. Then, he will be moved to the Oratory of St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, where he will lie in state on Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Paul Cremona, OP, at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta, on Tuesday at 3 p.m. The funeral will continue privately at St Gregory’s Cemetery, Żejtun. No flowers by request, but donations to Dar Nazareth, Żejtun, will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

The funeral leaves Karin Grech Hospital tomorrow at 2 p.m. for Stella Maris parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2.30 p.m., followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.
