Chart-topping British singer and songwriter James Blunt will be performing in Malta on April 7.

Organised by NNG Promotions, the concert by one of the most successful solo artists of the last decade will be held at Valletta Waterfront.

Best known for a string of popular ballads and for his striking voice, his smash hit You’re Beautiful set the platinum standard for edgeless adult pop while accompanying 2004 album Back to Bedlam was the biggest selling album of the last decade in the UK. He has sold over 18 million records.

His latest tour, promoting the new album, Some Kind of Trouble, features the single Stay the Night.

Blunt has received numerous awards and accolades, including two Brit Awards, two World Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards, an MTV European Music Award and five Grammy nominations.

“Blunt’s music has mass appeal and brings together exceptional music, an incredibly beautiful and powerful voice and touching lyrics. All his singles become instant chart toppers and enjoy enduring popularity, making him one of the most well-loved musicians of the past decade,” NNG director Nigel Camilleri said.

The concert comes right after a packed calendar of concerts organised by NNG Promotions throughout the past year, including Elton John, Boyzone frontman Ronan Keating and tenor Joseph Calleja.

Tickets starting from €35 are available from www.nngpromotions.com or join the NNG Promotions group on Facebook.
