Updated: AFM search suspended, resuming tomorrow
A search by the Armed Forces of Malta for a reported floating body was suspended at 8.30 p.m. this evening but will be resuming tomorrow.
The AFM were searching for a corpse reported to have been seen by a local fishermen at around 4.30 p.m. in the Fawwara area.
Sources said the AFM were informed at around 6.30 p.m. and sent out a recue launch to the area.
This had to be replaced with a patrol boat later because of engine trouble.
