The Xagħra Scout Group recently held its annual generalmeeting and an entertainment programme at the Xagħra YouthCentre.

The scouts performed a play entitled Back in the War, whilethe cubs staged a play entitled Wirt Artna, featuring Maltesehistory and places of interest in Xagħra. The beavers also sang several songs.

Awards were given for Best Scout of the Year, Best Cub Scout and Best Beaver Scout, won by Juan Hili, Jake Borg and Claire Refalo respectively.

The group also welcomed four new beavers – Craig Carl Debono, Hayley Borg, Hayden Teuma and Scott Attard.
