A Victorian silver stirrup cup modelled as a deerhound and a portrait painting by Maud Earl of the black Labrador Peter of Faskally holding a cock pheasant with his mate Dungavel Jet will be auctioned in a Dogs in Field and Show sale in New York on February 16, with an estimated price of € 29,636 and €59,272, respectively.

Another item to be auctioned is a late 19th century reverse carved and painted intaglio spaniel brooch.

The brooch depicts a Springer spaniel set in a diamond and ruby mount. Its estimated price is between €5,927 and €8.891.
