11 a.m. The President receives a courtesy call from Francis Gauci at San Anton Palace.

5.45 p.m. The President visits Cospicua council.

6 p.m. The President meets Cospicua NGOs at St Joseph Band Club, Cospicua.

Thursday

9.30 a.m. The President is presented with credentials by Iranian Ambassador Seyed Mohammad Ali Hosseini, at the Palace,Valletta.

10 a.m. Mrs Abela is interviewed by David Micallef for Diva Magazine at San Anton Palace.

10.30 a.m. The President is presented with Letters of Commission by High Commissioner of Sierra Leone Alhajj Abubakarr Jalloh at the Palace, Valletta.

11.30 a.m. The President is presented with credentials by Korean Ambassador Kim Young-Seok, at the Palace, Valletta.

Noon Mrs Abela presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund working committee at San Anton Palace.

1.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela host a luncheon in honour of the newly accredited ambassadors of Iran and Korea and the High Commissioner of Sierra Leone, at San Anton Palace.

6 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend Mass at St Sebastian parish church, Qormi, on the 75th anniversary of its foundation.

Friday

10 a.m. The President and Mrs Abela meet students during the harvesting of oranges at San Anton orchard for the upcoming event ‘Festa taċ-Ċitru’.

11.30 a.m. The President receives opposition leader Joseph Muscat at San Anton Palace.

5 p.m. The President hosts the honorary consuls accredited to Malta to exchange new year’s greetings at the Palace, Valletta.
