A recent board meeting saw three Vodafone Malta past and present chief executive officers come together: outgoing Spanish CEO Inaki Berroeta (right), who took up his post as CEO of Vodafone Romania on December 1, his predecessor Hatem Dowidar of Egypt (first left), now CEO of Vodafone Egypt, and newly appointed CEO Balesh Sharma (second left), who begins his term on February 1. They are seen here with Michael Bianchi, founder and board member of Vodafone Malta. Mr Bianchi’s association with Vodafone dates to 1987 when the company was still known as Racal Telecom. He is the longest serving Vodafone director worldwide.
