The Malta Futsal School recently concluded the first term of its inaugural season. Twenty-five children, aged between 8 and 12, are attending training sessions at the Malta Futsal School.

Founders Jonathan Pisani and JeanBert Gatt have gone to great lengths to get the Malta Futsal School up and running,

“Futsal is still a growing sport in Malta and promoting it among children has been a challenge in itself,” the Malta Futsal School said in a statement.

The closing session of the first term featured fun games involving the young members and their parents.

The next event for the Malta Futsal School is the UEFA Futsal Euro 2012 preliminary round tournament, to be held at the Cottonera Sports Complex between January 20 and 24.

The school members will assist as ball boys during matches involving Malta, France, Lithuania and Bulgaria. They will also play a friendly at the Cottonera Sport Complex on January 23.
