KMS SkolaSport, a programme run by the Kunsill Malti għall-iSport, commenced its second semester last Saturday. For the 12th year running, Kellogg’s is sponsoring this successful campaign for children and adults.

KMS SkolaSport offers various programme modules at different venues, including Pembroke, where the SkolaSport sessions are held at St Claire’s College.

Formerly known as Sir Luiġi Preziosi Girls’ Secondary School, it is situated in pleasant surroundings on the main road leading to the Salina Coast Road.

The benefits of being on the outskirts of the urban area adds to the school’s environment.

The SkolaSport programme covers the development of movement where the main objective is that of ensuring that children learn basic skills, enjoy being active and deve-lop knowledge and understanding of their bodies.

Kellogg’s is the world renowned producer of breakfast cereals which give adults and children necessary nutrients and vitamins to kickstart their day.

“Kellogg’s is a firm believer in encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle from a young age.

“A healthy and balanced diet together with regular exercise helps improve a person’s health and well being.

“The sponsorship of the KMS SkolaSport programme further accentuates our commitment towards promoting a healthy lifestyle,” a Kellogg’s spokesperson said.
