The Malta Technology Agency (MITA) has launched a second call for applications for the Second Step Training Programme, providing participants with the opportunity of achieving an ICT diploma.

The call is in line with the agency’s vision of investing in human capital and improving individuals’ employability status.

The Second Step training programme and similar initiatives, confirm the government’s contribution towards cultivating a culture where skills and talents are developed throughout life, MITA chairman Claudio Grech said.

The second call allows applicants to choose from among three ICT national diplomas: Information Systems, Information Technology and Computing and Information Systems.

The first call last summer generated 375 applications. The training programme is co-financed by the European Union.

Applications are being accepted until January 23 exclusively via an online registration form available at www.mita.gov.mt.
