Reduced telephone costs for elderly
The number of elderly persons who participated in the reduced telephony costs scheme in 2010 were 413, while the number in 2007 was 615. The information was given in Parliament by Minister Joseph Cassar to Labour MP Anthony Agius Decelis.

What is to be done to participate in the scheme of reduced telephone charges if one is an old age pensionner? The Social Service Department has the list of all Old Age pensionners whether receiving NI Pension or non contribution Old Age Pension.Should not all these benefi from the scheme or there are faourites pensioinners? The Minster Ms Cristina ought to be more specific.
